Light's Bake Shop has been providing fresh baked goods from old-fashioned scratch recipes since 1940.

The bakery, originally located in historic Langdon Plaza in Elmira, New York, expanded in the early 1990's to include our new full service restaurant when, Harold Carlton, our owner, relocated the business to our new facility at 211 West Second Street. Our new location not only provides accomodations for the expansion of our bakery business, but provides ample parking for visitors to our restaraunt and walk-in bakery.

Our restaurant is open 7 days a week and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Our bakery serves fresh, delicious baked goods not only to our local customers, but to customers afar that continue to enjoy goodies like our half-moon cookies and breads by mail.
